A dealer or shop-installed OEM retrofit typically runs $600+ before labor. Ours is $449.99, plug and play, with no dealer coding or activation required and no cutting or splicing of OEM cables. A 1 year warranty is included with every order.
Here is what you will pick at checkout:
1. What year is your vehicle? Choose your model year, 2008 through 2018.
2. Which Command System do you have? "NTG 4.0", "NTG 4.5 / 4.7", or "NTG 5.0 / 5.1 / 5.2". If you are not sure which one you have, send us a photo of your screen and we will identify it for you.
3. Camera Option: "Flush Mount Camera" (add $50), "OEM Integrated Tailgate Handle Camera (2015 - 2016 Models)" (add $70), "No - I want to use my factory camera", or "No - I already have another RCA camera to use".
4. Front Camera Add-On: "Adjustable Lens Front Camera (106S)" (add $60), an optional forward-facing camera. Skip this option if you do not want one.
5. Extended Warranty ( 1 Year Included ): "2 Year" (add $20) or "3 Year" (add $40).

The C-Class sold between 2008 and 2018 spans two very different cars, the W204 with its in-dash COMAND display and the W205 with the freestanding screen above the center vents. This kit brings wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to both, working through the factory screen and controller you already have. There is no coding visit, no cut wires, and no replacement display, just a module that plugs in behind the radio you use every day.
Mercedes changed the C-Class command system three times across this run. W204 sedans from 2008 to 2011 use NTG 4, while the 2012 to 2014 cars carry NTG 4.5/4.7. The W205 that followed runs NTG 5 from 2015 through 2018. Each of those systems uses different wiring behind the screen, which is why the order form asks for both your model year and your command system before we ship. The range stops at 2018 because 2019 to 2021 C-Class models carry NTG 5.5, and on that system we install backup cameras but no CarPlay or Android Auto hardware. If the on-screen menus in your car do not match your year, go by the interface, transitional build dates do vary.
A C-Class from these years is a car people hold onto, and the head unit is usually the first thing that feels dated. This kit modernizes it without disturbing the factory dash or wiring, since nothing is cut and the display stays put. Pairing happens over Bluetooth, so your phone can stay in a pocket or bag, and a USB cable is included for anyone who prefers to plug in and charge while driving.
Installation leaves the factory controls in charge. Skip tracks, adjust volume, and call up Siri or Google Assistant from the buttons your C-Class shipped with, whether the phone in your pocket runs iOS or Android.
The order form covers every build from 2008 to 2018 with a year picker plus a command system picker, and an optional backup camera can be added that displays through the same factory screen. The standard flush mount unit rides the lip just above the license plate, sees a wide 170 degree field behind the car, and holds up well in low light.
If you would rather mount the camera on the bumper or spoiler, or your C-Class rides lower than stock, the adjustable lens version lets you fine tune the viewing angle by hand.
A front camera input is supported as well; it takes over the screen automatically when you shift out of reverse and steps aside after fifteen seconds.
