Upgrade your OEM MERCEDES BENZ screen with our MERCEDES BENZ GLK Wireless CarPlay / Android Auto System. This system is compatible with 2010-2014 GLK Mercedes that are equipped with NTG 4, NTG 4.5, NTG 4.7 and NTG 5 command systems. This comprehensive video interface module will integrate all the features of Apple CarPlay / Android Auto onto your existing Mercedes GLK command system. Once installed, the system is ready for use without any dealer activation or coding required and DOES NOT require any cutting or splicing of OEM cables.
The GLK never got a second act, Mercedes built the boxy X204 for a single generation and then moved on, which means owners who love its upright shape are keeping these trucks on the road. Our kit for the 2010-2014 GLK adds wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto through the COMAND screen already sitting in the dash. Nothing gets replaced and nothing gets cut, the interface simply joins the factory harnesses behind the radio and is ready to use the same day.
Across its 2010 to 2014 run the X204 GLK passed through two command systems. Vehicles from 2010 to 2012 carry NTG 4.0, and builds from 2012 to 2014 moved to NTG 4.5, both of which appear on our order form for this model. Because the changeover happened mid-cycle rather than on a clean model-year boundary, we ask you to identify the system by its on-screen interface instead of assuming it from the year on the title. Each system takes different wiring at the back of the display, and the kit ships matched to your selection. The GLK stayed on sale into 2015, but this kit covers vehicles through 2014. Still unsure which system you have, snap a quick picture of the display and the buttons around it, email it over, and we will identify the correct system before anything ships.
All of it lives behind the factory head unit, so the cabin looks exactly as Mercedes left it. Your phone pairs over Bluetooth for cable-free CarPlay and Android Auto, and a USB hookup comes in the box for a wired connection or charging.
The GLK's original knobs and buttons keep doing the work: choosing apps, changing songs, moving volume up or down, and waking Siri or Google Assistant, whichever phone platform you use.
A squared-off SUV with a tall rear hatch is exactly where a backup camera pays off, and both our flush mount and adjustable lens options tie into this kit, with the picture appearing on the GLK's own COMAND display. The flush mount version installs on the lip above the license plate and covers a wide 170 degree field even in dim light.
Choose the adjustable lens camera when the mounting position calls for it: the angle can be set by hand to suit a bumper or spoiler location, or a truck riding higher or lower than stock.
For the front, the module accepts a second camera that shows automatically when you shift out of reverse and clears itself after fifteen seconds, handy for parking a flat-nosed truck close to the curb.
Our integration systems connect to the factory command system currently in your vehicle. Therefore, it is imperative that we know which command system your vehicle is equipped with in order to ensure we send the correct wiring for your vehicle.
