Upgrade your OEM MERCEDES BENZ screen with our MERCEDES BENZ S CLASS Wireless CarPlay / Android Auto System. This system is compatible with 2014-2017 S Class Mercedes that are equipped with NTG 5 command systems. This comprehensive video interface module will integrate all the features of Apple CarPlay / Android Auto onto your existing Mercedes S Class command system. Once installed, the system is ready for use without any dealer activation or coding required and DOES NOT require any cutting or splicing of OEM cables.
Inside a 2014-2017 S-Class, the W222 flagship, sits a sweeping COMAND display that deserves better than a phone in a cupholder. This kit streams wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto straight onto that factory panel, keeping the cabin exactly as the designers intended. The module connects behind the screen using the original harnesses, so there is no cutting, no coding appointment, and no aftermarket hardware visible anywhere in one of the most carefully built interiors Mercedes has produced.
The 2014-2017 window is precise for a reason. The W222 generation launched with the NTG 5 command system, and NTG 5 is what this interface is engineered around, which is why those four model years are the ones we support for CarPlay and Android Auto. The previous S-Class, the W221 built from 2007 to 2013, used NTG 3 and NTG 3.5, older architectures we do not stock an interface for. On the other end, S-Class models from 2018 to 2020 moved to NTG 5.5, a platform we currently integrate only for backup cameras, not smartphone projection. The order form confirms your year from 2014 through 2017 and your command system so the correct LVDS wiring arrives with your module.
Nobody wants a flagship sedan back at the dealer for software work, and this installation never requires it, the system is live the moment the module is connected. For daily use, wireless pairing keeps cables out of a cabin designed around calm, and the factory look of the W222 interior is preserved down to the last stitch. A USB cable still ships in the kit for anyone who wants a wired link or charging on the road.
Voice control carries over naturally, so Siri or Google Assistant answers through the car while your hands stay on the wheel of a vehicle built for effortless driving. The factory controller continues to run app selection, track skipping, and volume, with iPhone and Android both supported.
An optional backup camera is available for this kit. The flush mount unit sits discreetly on the lip above the license plate and sends a wide 170 degree picture to the factory display, holding up well in low light.
If the car sits lower than stock or you prefer a bumper or decklid mounting point, the adjustable lens camera lets the angle be dialed in by hand.
A front-facing camera can be wired in as well; it displays automatically after you shift out of reverse and drops away when fifteen seconds have elapsed.

Therefore, it is imperative that we know which command system your vehicle is equipped with, to ensure we send the correct wiring for your vehicle.
