What is the warranty?

All Emerald Integrations OEM-integrated kits include a 1-year manufacturer warranty against defects. If you experience any issues during the warranty period, contact our support team at sales@emeraldintegrations.com for a replacement or repair.

Will this disable any of my factory features?

No. Our OEM-integrated kits preserve all original radio, navigation, Bluetooth, steering wheel controls, and audio settings. The kit integrates as an overlay on the existing system — your factory features continue to work exactly as before.

What is your return policy?

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on returns by mail. If the kit does not work as expected or fit your vehicle, contact us within 30 days of delivery. Return shipping is paid by the customer, and the refund is the product price less any discounts, less our original outbound shipping cost if your order shipped free. If we sent the wrong part or we are sending a replacement, we cover the shipping. Items must be in original, resaleable condition.

Mercedes CLA CarPlay / Android Auto System

Mercedes gave the first CLA, the C117, a fixed tablet-style display standing above the center vents, and that screen is exactly where this kit puts wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Built for the 2014-2018 CLA, the module hides behind the factory radio and uses the harnesses already in the dash. Your four-door coupe keeps its original look inside, gains modern navigation and messaging apps, and never needs a dealer visit or a single spliced wire to get there.

Which Command System Is In Your CLA

The C117 CLA ran as a single generation, but its electronics did not stand still. Early cars shipped with NTG 4.5, found on 2014 builds and on the first 2013 examples, which this kit also supports even though the US model years on this page begin at 2014. Cars from 2015 through 2018 carry the NTG 5 family, listed on our order form as NTG 5.0 or 5.1. The two families use different connections behind the display, so the kit is configured to whichever one you select. Coverage ends at 2018; the redesigned CLA that eventually replaced the C117 moved to a newer factory platform that our kits do not support. When in doubt, match the menu design on your screen rather than the title on your registration.

Connect Your Phone Wirelessly

There is no aftermarket double-DIN escape hatch in a CLA, the display is fixed and the dash was never designed for a swap, which makes an integration module the only clean path to CarPlay in this car. Everything installs behind the radio and can be removed without a trace. Once fitted, your phone connects over Bluetooth with no cable required, though a USB connection is included for wired use and charging.

You keep the CLA's factory controls too. The original buttons handle app selection, track changes, and volume, with voice requests going to Siri on an iPhone or Google Assistant on an Android device.

Optional Camera add-on

The optional flush mount camera earns its keep here too, since the coupe roofline and high trunk lip leave a smaller rear window than most sedans. It mounts on the trunk lip above the license plate and delivers a wide angle picture that stays usable in low light. Ordering is simple because the form asks just one technical question, which command system you have.

An adjustable lens model is offered for anyone mounting away from the plate area or driving a lowered car, since its viewing angle can be aimed by hand.

The module also accepts a front camera, which comes up on screen when you leave reverse and clears itself after fifteen seconds have gone by.
