This OEM Integrated BMW Rear-View Backup Camera kit fits all 2007-2020 BMW X5 / X5M models with or without navigation. The comprehensive Multimedia Video Interface integrates through a simple plug-in connection to enable the viewing of external video sources such as Backup Camera (provided in kit), front camera and a 3rd DVR input.
You can now upgrade your module to support CarPlay & Android Auto for 2007-2020 BMW X5 that are equipped with CCC, CIC, NBT or EVO systems. This comprehensive video interface module will integrate all the features of Apple CarPlay / Android Auto onto your existing BMW NBT command system. Once installed, the system is ready for use without any dealer activation or coding required and DOES NOT require any cutting or splicing of OEM cables.

Sitting cleanly over the plate, the flush mount camera brings a 170 degree wide angle view that stays usable in low light, and parking sensors show picture-in-picture beside the camera image where fitted.
The adjustable-lens option is worth considering on lifted or accessory-heavy trucks, and any time the camera needs to mount away from the plate, on the spoiler or bumper for example.
Add a front camera to the same module and it takes over the screen automatically out of reverse, handing back control at the fifteen second mark.
Out of the box, Bluetooth keeps the phone connected wirelessly, and the included USB cord is there when you want to plug in.
The X5's own buttons keep running things inside CarPlay, song selection, volume, and Siri or Google Assistant included, with support for both iOS and Android.

Which unit a given truck carries comes down to when it was built, not just the year on its badge, so trust what the dash actually shows over any generic chart. Wiring differs across the four systems, so the order form asks which unit your truck carries, and a photo of the powered-on screen removes any doubt before we ship.
