This OEM Integrated BMW Rear-View Backup Camera kit fits all 2009-2019 BMW 7-Series models with or without navigation. The comprehensive Multimedia Video Interface integrates through a simple plug-in connection to enable the viewing of external video sources such as Backup Camera (provided in kit), front camera and a 3rd DVR input.
You can now upgrade your module to support CarPlay for 2009-2019 BMW 7-Series that are equipped with NBT or EVO systems. This comprehensive video interface module will integrate all the features of Apple CarPlay / Android Auto onto your existing BMW NBT command system. Once installed, the system is ready for use without any dealer activation or coding required and DOES NOT require any cutting or splicing of OEM cables.
A flagship sedan deserves better than a stick-on mirror monitor, and the 7-Series never needs one. This kit integrates a high definition backup camera into the factory display of any 2009-2019 BMW 7-Series, with or without navigation, through a plug-in multimedia interface. The same module accepts a front camera along with a third DVR feed, activation requires no dealer visit or coding, and not a single OEM cable is cut during the installation.
Ordering the CarPlay and Android Auto add-on integrates your favorite apps into the 7-Series' factory display. Within the supported 2009-2019 span, cars equipped with CIC, NBT, or EVO can all take the CarPlay and Android Auto add-on.

Owners of these sedans expect factory-level behavior, and that is what an integrated approach delivers, shift into reverse and the image is simply there on the wide iDrive display. The connection happens behind the original screen using the harnesses BMW installed, and nothing about the cabin changes visually.
Once the connectors are seated the system is live, without any follow-up coding appointment, and every kit arrives backed by our 1-year warranty.
Existing park distance control appears picture-in-picture beside the camera feed where fitted. The flush mount camera takes the spot above the license plate and covers a 170 degree wide angle view that performs well in low light.
Go with the adjustable-lens camera if the mounting position needs flexibility, such as the spoiler or bumper, or if the car sits outside stock ride height.
A front camera can occupy the module's second input, coming on automatically after reverse is released and switching off fifteen seconds afterward.

Linking happens over Bluetooth wirelessly, and a USB cord ships in the kit for cable connections.
Track skips, volume, and voice assistants such as Siri or Google Assistant all answer to the factory controls, and iOS and Android devices are both covered.
** Both kits come with a the flush mount backup camera by default. If you do not want or do not need a backup camera, choose "none" in the camera option section below. Price will adjust accordingly.**
The 7-Series range here is bounded on both ends by iDrive history. Coverage begins at 2009 because the earlier E65 ran BMW's first-generation iDrive rather than CCC, and that original unit is not compatible with this interface. From 2009 the F01 generation carries CIC through 2012, NBT takes over for the 2013 to 2015 cars, and the G11 runs EVO from 2016 to 2019. Coverage ends at 2019 because BMW moved the 7-Series to the MGU-based iDrive from model year 2020, a platform this module does not address. If your dash shows a system you cannot identify, send a photo of the powered-on screen so we can verify.
