This OEM Integrated BMW Rear-View Backup Camera kit fits all 2014-2020 BMW 2-Series / M2 models with or without navigation. The comprehensive Multimedia Video Interface integrates through a simple plug-in connection to enable the viewing of external video sources such as Backup Camera (provided in kit), front camera and a 3rd DVR input.
You can now upgrade your module to support CarPlay for 2014-2020 BMW 2-Series models. This comprehensive video interface module will integrate all the features of Apple CarPlay / Android Auto onto your existing BMW NBT command system. Once installed, the system is ready for use without any dealer activation or coding required and DOES NOT require any cutting or splicing of OEM cables.
The 2-Series arrived in 2014 as the successor to BMW's small coupe line, and every one of them left the factory with a screen that can host a proper backup camera. This kit fits all 2014-2020 BMW 2-Series and M2 models, navigation or not, feeding a high definition rear image through a plug-in video interface. Front camera and DVR inputs are built into the same module, and no OEM cable is ever cut or spliced during installation.
The Apple CarPlay and Android Auto add-on puts your apps directly on the OEM radio and screen. Because both NBT and EVO cars are supported, the CarPlay and Android Auto upgrade is available across all 2014-2020 2-Series models.
A 2-Series cabin is compact enough that an added aftermarket monitor would be an eyesore, and this kit avoids that entirely by borrowing the display BMW already installed. The module connects behind the factory screen using existing harnesses.

The camera also ties into your parking sensors for a picture-in-picture view where equipped. The standard flush mount unit sits on the lip above the license plate and delivers a 170 degree wide angle view that stays clear in low light.
Prefer a different mounting spot, or running a lowered car? The adjustable-lens camera lets you fine-tune the viewing angle from locations like the spoiler or bumper.
The same module accepts a front camera input, which appears on its own after shifting out of reverse and times out fifteen seconds later.
Connect over Bluetooth for a fully wireless link, or fall back on the provided USB cord whenever you prefer.
Song selection, volume, and voice control through Siri or Google Assistant all stay on the OEM buttons you already use, and the system works with iOS and Android phones alike.

Two command systems span the entire 2014-2020 run of 2-Series and M2 cars this kit covers: NBT and EVO. BMW phased one into the other by production date, so a badge or a model year alone will not settle which unit sits in the dash.
