Audi A7 CarPlay / Android Auto System

Audi's A7 Sportback paired a fastback body with the brand's flagship electronics, and this kit serves the 2012-2018 cars specifically. Earlier cars in that window use the 3G+ MMI touchscreen and later ones a MIB2 display, and both get wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto through the factory screen with this interface. The module joins the existing harnesses behind the monitor, meaning the install involves no cutting, no splicing, no coding, and no trip to a dealership before everything works.

Which MMI Version Fits Your A7

The order form splits the A7 into its two electronics eras, 2012-2015 and 2016-2018, and then asks whether your OEM screen is a touchscreen. That split matters because the earlier cars run the 3G+ MMI touchscreen while the later ones carry MIB2, and each requires its own harness and its own installation guide, both of which we supply.

Optional Camera add-on

The Sportback's raked hatch glass does rear visibility no favors, and the optional cameras address that on the factory display: a flush mount unit, an adjustable lens version suited to lowered or raised cars, or a tailgate handle camera, which requires a handle measuring 6 inches across.

Compatibility

The identification image draws a hard line: A7s without MMI or with Internal MMI are marked not compatible, and it also illustrates both MIB2 monitor styles. Match your dash to that image before checkout, or send our team a photo of the radio and screen and we will confirm which configuration your car needs.
