Audi A7 CarPlay / Android Auto System

Audi's A7 Sportback paired a fastback body with the brand's flagship electronics, and this kit serves the 2012-2018 cars specifically. On 2012-2015 cars the kit needs MMI 3G+ with touch, where MMI touch means the touch pad on the MMI controller in the console and the screen itself is not a touchscreen, and the 2016-2018 cars use MIB 2. Each system takes its own unit, and both bring wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to the factory screen. The module joins the existing harnesses behind the monitor, meaning the install involves no cutting, no splicing, no coding, and no trip to a dealership before everything works.

Which MMI Version Fits Your A7

The order form splits the A7 into its two electronics eras, 2012-2015 and 2016-2018, and then asks whether your console MMI controller has the touch pad. That split matters because each era takes its own unit. 2012-2015 A7 and S7 cars with MMI 3G+ with touch take our in-stock unit, and 2016-2018 A7 cars with MIB 2 take a different unit that is ordered in for your car. Each unit ships with its own harness and installation guide. There is no unit for an A7 without MMI, and none for a 2012-2015 car whose controller has no touch pad.
