This OEM Integrated Rear-view Backup Camera kit fits all 2012-2018 A7 models with 3G MMI navigation. The comprehensive Multimedia Video Interface integrates through a simple plug-in connection to enable the viewing of external video sources such as Backup Camera (provided in kit), DVD player, TV tuner, Video Game Console, Smartphone, and optional Navigation on your factory built-in car monitor.
Now you can use your favorite apps directly on your OEM Radio and Screen of any 2012-2018 Audi A7 that is equipped with a 3g+ MMI touchscreen or a MIB2 display with our Apple Carplay / Android Auto integration system. This comprehensive video interface module will integrate all the features of Apple CarPlay / Android Auto onto your existing Audi command system. Once installed, the system is ready for use without any dealer activation or coding required and DOES NOT require any cutting or splicing of OEM cables.
This kit approaches the 2012-2018 A7, S7, and RS7 from the camera side first: an OEM-integrated backup camera wired into the factory monitor through a multimedia video interface, with the reverse image appearing automatically the moment you select reverse. The same interface opens the factory screen to external video sources, from a DVD player or TV tuner to a game console or smartphone. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto can be added to the package as an option at checkout.
Coverage follows the A7's electronics timeline: 2012-2015 cars with the 3G+ MMI touchscreen and 2016-2018 cars with MIB2 are both supported, and the order form asks for your year range plus whether your OEM screen is a touchscreen so the correct interface ships. Every configuration of this kit includes the flush mount backup camera by default, and you can swap it for the adjustable lens unit or the tailgate handle camera, which replaces the hatch handle itself and needs 6 inches of width.
Cars with Parking Distance Control get a picture-in-picture view pairing the sensor readout with the live camera feed.
A front camera input rounds out the package, triggering when you leave reverse and shutting off after 15 seconds.

MIB2 System
You can connect your phone to our system wirelessly through Bluetooth or with the provided USB cord.
Once connected, your vehicle's factory buttons run your CarPlay applications: song selection, volume up and down, and voice recognition through Siri (Apple) or Google Assistant (Android). This system is fully compatible with both iOS and Android devices.
