Enhance your OEM Audi screen with our Audi A5 Wireless CarPlay / Android Auto System. This system is compatible with 2009-2019 A5 models with or without 3G MMI navigation. This comprehensive video interface module will integrate all the features of Apple CarPlay / Android Auto onto your existing Audi command system. Once installed, the system is ready for use without any dealer activation or coding required, and DOES NOT require any cutting or splicing of OEM cables.
The A5's supported run, 2009-2019, covers a full decade of coupes and cabriolets. This system brings wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to those cars with or without 3G MMI navigation, working through the original display rather than replacing it. The interface module rides behind the screen on the car's own harnesses, and once it is in, there is no coding, no dealer activation, and no spliced factory cable to worry about.
Order options mirror how the A5 was actually built. A 2009-2015 car with a Symphony or Concert radio orders one way, a 2010-2016 car with 3G MMI another, and 2016-2019 cars choose between the 7 inch and 8.3 inch MIB2 monitors. The reason is wiring: each of those head units terminates differently behind the display, and your selection tells us which harness set belongs in your box. Nav and non-nav cars are both supported, which matters if your coupe was ordered without navigation.
Wireless pairing starts CarPlay as you settle into the seat, while the included USB cable covers charging on longer drives.
A two-door cabin rewards subtlety, and this install leaves the A5's dash exactly as the designers drew it: same screen, same trim, same knob.
Rear visibility options include a flush mount unit above the plate or the tailgate handle camera, which needs a handle measuring 4.5 inches across.
