Upgrade your OEM Audi screen with our Audi A6 Wireless CarPlay / Android Auto System. Fits the 2012-2015 Audi A6 / S6 with MMI 3G+ with touch (the touch pad on the console MMI controller; the screen is not a touchscreen) with our in-stock unit. The 2010-2011 A6 / S6 with MMI 3G or 3G+ and the 2016-2018 A6 with MIB 2 each take a different unit, ordered in for your car, and the year you select tells us which one ships. There is no unit for an A6 without MMI. This comprehensive video interface module will integrate all the features of Apple CarPlay / Android Auto onto your existing Audi command system. Between 2010 and 2018 the A6 carried some of Audi's most elaborate cockpit hardware. This kit modernizes the original equipment: wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto appear on your existing MMI screen, with your phone connecting wirelessly, or wired through the USB port on the kit's USB/AV harness. Ordering is deliberately simple for this model, just your model year and whether your console MMI controller has the touch pad, and installation involves no coding, dealer visit, or cut wiring.
Your MMI system, not just the year, decides which of three units fits, and the year you pick on the order form tells us which one ships. 2010-2011 A6 and S6 cars with MMI 3G or 3G+ take one unit. 2012-2015 A6 and S6 cars with MMI 3G+ with touch take our in-stock unit, the same one that fits the 2012-2015 A7 and S7. On these cars MMI touch means the touch pad on the MMI controller in the console; the screen itself is not a touchscreen, so answer Yes on the order form if your controller has that pad. 2016-2018 A6 cars with MIB 2 take a third unit. The 2010-2011 and 2016-2018 units are ordered in for your car. There is no unit for an A6 without MMI, and none for a 2012-2015 car whose controller has no touch pad, so if you are not sure, email us a photo of your console controller and screen before ordering. Installation documentation arrives matched to the configuration you select.
An A6 of this era already feels like an executive office, and the point of this kit is to modernize it without leaving fingerprints. The module hides entirely behind the factory monitor, so the cabin shows no added screens or visible wiring.

For parking a long sedan, optional rear and front cameras feed the same display, with the front view timing out automatically 15 seconds after you shift out of reverse.
