Upgrade your current OEM Screen with our OEM Integrated Wireless Apple CarPlay / Android Auto + Camera System.
Compatible with all OEM factory screens (6.5" to 10.25") in the 2009-2020 BMW X1, across CIC, NBT, and EVO Command Systems. This plug-and-play video interface module seamlessly integrates with your existing OEM screen and radio, adding both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capabilities.
Now you can experience enhanced navigation, voice control via Siri or Google Assistant, and stream your favorite music through Spotify, Apple Music, and more, all through your car's speakers and using your BMW's OEM screen and controls.
Our system will not disable any OEM factory functions or steering wheel controls. Preferably, the factory microphone is used for hands-free calling, and all audio routes through the vehicle's speakers. An aftermarket microphone is provided in the event your vehicle does not have one.
Note: vehicles equipped with the base analog radio (no factory display screen) are not compatible with this system.
On EVO touchscreen vehicles, the CarPlay/Android Auto interface is controlled with the iDrive knob; the factory touch function does not operate inside the CarPlay screen.
BMW's smallest crossover has been a quiet best-seller for over a decade, and the 2009-2020 X1 range this kit serves includes both of its distinct generations. E84 cars and the later F48 platform take the same basic upgrade: a wireless CarPlay and Android Auto module that connects behind the factory screen using the plugs BMW already installed. Your display, controller, and cargo-friendly cabin stay exactly as they are, while navigation and music start coming from the phone in your pocket.
**Note: Video is for NBT. However we have modules for every Command System this model uses (CIC, NBT, EVO)**

Plug-and-play by design, the module carries our 1-year warranty and connects behind the factory display through the harnesses already in the car.
An X1 works hard, school runs, cargo hauls, road trips, and the upgrades here match that duty cycle. Wireless pairing means the phone stays in a bag or pocket while CarPlay comes up on its own, and the included USB cable charges it on longer runs.

Volume, song selection, and voice activation stay on the factory controls, and both iOS and Android phones are supported.
For X1s that never shipped with a rearview camera, the flush mount option adds a 170 degree wide angle picture that holds up well in low light, displayed on your original screen. The adjustable-lens camera is the pick for bumper or spoiler mounting, and a front camera input with an automatic 15 second timeout is supported too.

No X1 in our supported range uses CCC, so the compatibility question starts one generation later than it does for the older sedans. Every supported car from 2009 through 2020 instead carries CIC, NBT, or EVO, three systems that connect differently behind the display and therefore ship with different harnesses. Body style will not settle which one you have, and neither will the model year on its own; the build of your specific X1 determines it. Check the interface design against the reference images on this page, and if your screen does not clearly match one, send us a photo with the vehicle on and we will identify it before checkout.
