Upgrade your current OEM Screen with our OEM Integrated Wireless Apple CarPlay / Android Auto + Camera System.
Compatible with all OEM factory screens (6.5" to 10.25") in the 2009-2019 BMW 1 Series, across CIC, NBT, and EVO Command Systems. This plug-and-play video interface module seamlessly integrates with your existing OEM screen and radio, adding both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capabilities.
Now you can experience enhanced navigation, voice control via Siri or Google Assistant, and stream your favorite music through Spotify, Apple Music, and more, all through your car's speakers and using your BMW's OEM screen and controls.
Our system will not disable any OEM factory functions or steering wheel controls. Preferably, the factory microphone is used for hands-free calling, and all audio routes through the vehicle's speakers. An aftermarket microphone is provided in the event your vehicle does not have one.
Note: vehicles equipped with the base analog radio (no factory display screen) are not compatible with this system.
On EVO touchscreen vehicles, the CarPlay/Android Auto interface is controlled with the iDrive knob; the factory touch function does not operate inside the CarPlay screen.
Few small BMWs have aged as well as the 1 Series, and the 2009-2019 cars this kit serves still drive brilliantly; their infotainment is the part that shows its age. Our wireless CarPlay and Android Auto module modernizes the car from behind the factory display, whether yours is an E82 coupe, an E88 convertible, or a later 1 Series. It plugs into the existing harnesses, keeps the original screen and iDrive controller, and adds wireless phone projection with no coding and no dealer visit.

A 1 Series cabin is compact, and this installation respects that: the module hides behind the factory screen, connected through harnesses BMW already put there, so nothing is cut and no extra display crowds the dash.
Pair over Bluetooth and the phone can stay in your pocket, or use the included USB cable when you want to charge on the road. Every order is covered by a 1-year warranty, too.
Your iDrive knob still runs volume, track selection, and voice control, now driving Siri or Google Assistant instead of the aging factory menus.
Two rear camera options are offered with the 1 Series kit. The flush mount unit tucks in above the license plate, sees roughly 170 degrees behind the car, performs well in low light, and can show a picture-in-picture view alongside your parking sensors on PDC-equipped cars.
The adjustable-lens unit lets you aim the view manually, which helps if you prefer mounting the camera on the spoiler or bumper, or when the car sits lower or higher than stock.
A front camera input is also supported; it comes on automatically when you shift out of reverse and switches off after 15 seconds.
Across the supported 2009-2019 window, every 1 Series we cover runs one of three iDrive command systems: CIC, NBT, or EVO. None of the cars we support carry CCC, which trims the ordering decision to three choices instead of four. Each of the three systems uses different connectors behind the screen, which is why we build the module in matching versions rather than one universal box and ship the harness built for your selection. The system in a given car follows its build rather than a clean calendar rule, so the on-screen interface design is the most reliable tell. Choose CIC, NBT, or EVO when you order, or send us a picture of your screen with the car running and we will confirm the right version first.
