Upgrade your current OEM Screen with our Wireless BMW 6 Series CarPlay / Android Auto System. A 6 Series was built to make distance feel effortless, and its infotainment should keep up. This kit adds wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto covering the 2004-2019 cars, from E63 coupes through the F12 and F13 and the four-door F06 Gran Coupe. The module installs behind your existing screen using the factory harnesses, leaves BMW's own interface untouched, and hands navigation, music, and voice control over to your phone the moment you climb in.

Owners keep these cars because nothing modern looks quite like them, and this retrofit respects that. Nothing is added to the dash and nothing visible changes: the wide factory display simply starts showing CarPlay or Android Auto, steered from the iDrive controller on the console.
Wireless Bluetooth pairing suits a coupe you drive on weekends, since there is no cable ritual every time you get in, and the included USB cable covers longer trips. A 1-year warranty backs the module.
Volume, track changes, and voice activation for Siri or Google Assistant all remain on the buttons BMW built into the car, with iPhone and Android equally supported.
If your 6 Series never had a factory rear view, either camera option can add one on the original screen: a flush mount unit above the license plate offering a 170 degree wide angle, or an adjustable-lens version you can aim from a spoiler or bumper mount.
A front camera input is supported too; it activates when you shift out of reverse and stands down 15 seconds later.
The 6 Series timeline has a quirk the order form cannot show: there was no 2011 model year in the United States, since the E63 bowed out after 2010 and its successor arrived for 2012. Around that gap, the head units line up cleanly. E63 cars run CCC from 2004 to 2008, then CIC for 2009 and 2010. The F12, F13, and F06 launch on CIC in 2012, switch to NBT from 2013 to 2016, and finish on EVO from 2017 through 2019, where our supported 2004-2019 range ends. Every one of those systems uses distinct rear-of-screen wiring, so select the command system your car actually has, and verify by interface design rather than year if your car sits near a boundary.
