When you reverse, the module can pair the rear view with your existing Parking Distance Control in a picture-in-picture layout. A front camera input is supported as well, displaying automatically once you shift out of reverse and timing out after 15 seconds.

Lexus LX Compatibility

The LX's head-unit history splits cleanly at 2016. From 2013 to 2015 the truck used an 8-inch touchscreen Entune system, a different architecture this module does not connect to. The 2016 refresh replaced it with the 12.3-inch non-touch display commanded by the Remote Touch Interface joystick, and that hardware stayed in place through 2021. For 2022, the new LX 600 generation switched to the touchscreen Lexus Interface platform, which again falls outside this kit. That is why the supported window is exactly 2016-2021, the joystick-and-widescreen years. During checkout you verify that joystick-and-widescreen setup and select your model year, and the kit ships with wiring matched to that configuration.
